Ottawa, Canada - June 25, 2026 - Optii Corporation completed its exhibition at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, where the company participated as part of Eurosatory Lab and presented its passive photonic RF sensing technology to international defence, security, and innovation stakeholders.
Eurosatory 2026 took place June 15-19 at Paris Nord Villepinte, bringing together defence and security organizations, government representatives, prime contractors, investors, and emerging technology companies from around the world.
At the event, Optii met with potential partners and generated strong interest in the Optii sensor, particularly around counter-UAS and contested RF-awareness applications. The conversations reflected growing demand for sensing approaches that can support detection and classification workflows while reducing local electromagnetic signature at the sensing end.
Optii's presence in Eurosatory Lab also created a focused environment for startup, investor, defence innovation, and industrial partner conversations. The team used the exhibition to demonstrate the sensor concept, discuss integration pathways, and explore how passive photonic RF sensing could support defence, maritime, aerospace, border, and infrastructure use cases.
Beyond the exhibition floor, Optii conducted several meetings both at Eurosatory and across Europe over a two-week engagement period. These meetings supported continued exploration of partner pathways, international market access, technical collaboration, and future demonstration opportunities.
Within Optii's ecosystem partner network, the team met with the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, which has continued to support Optii's growth and inroads into the U.S. ecosystem. Optii also met with Virginia Beach Economic Development, which houses Optii's office through its accelerator in Virginia Beach.
Optii was also part of the Canadian delegation and was invited to join several private meetings with prime defence organizations. Those conversations have led to further technical discussions being scheduled with organizations evaluating passive, fibre-enabled RF sensing and resilient sensing architectures.
The Optii team left Eurosatory encouraged by the level of engagement and the relevance of its technology to allied defence and security conversations. The company will continue follow-up discussions with organizations interested in passive, fibre-enabled RF sensing, counter-UAS awareness, and resilient sensing architectures for operationally demanding environments.
