Secure Computing Systems Immune to Electromagnetic Interference

Optii brings new approaches to military computing and data transmittance which are not plagued by current problems relating to electromagnetic interference and hacking. Current electronic technologies in data computation (computers) radiate an electromagnetic signature and are therefore prone to lapses in security through electromagnetic information leaking. This allows for the transmitted data to be intercepted or interfered with (jammed) with electromagnetic waves. Solutions would include concepts in optical switching, preferably the fiber-optics field, to create all-optical logic gates as the basic building blocks for optical computation which is free of electronic components.

Computing Systems defended against Electronic warfare

We realize the needs of military computing and data transmittance which are not plagued by electronic warfare, including an electromagnetic attack in the form of electromagnetic pulses (EMPs), for example, from a nuclear blast. Current computing technologies which are comprised of electronic components experience damaging current and voltage surges during electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attacks, which can completely incapacitate or shut down the electronic computer. Our solution are all-optical logic gates as the basic building blocks of all-optical computation, and multiple gate connections which are free of electronic components.
